Item Description
Aragonite is not always found in crystallized specimens, and they are typically white or off-white in color. This piece features the most desirable combination of fine crystals along with a beautiful pastel blue color (due to minor copper content in the Aragonite). The crystals have formed eye-catching "sprays" comprising, thin individual bladed crystals, which are sitting nicely on contrasting black and white colored matrix. The majority of the Aragonites are in very good shape, though there is a contacted area on the back where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. Overall, a very showy and fine quality example of these gorgeous specimens from Wenshan. From a new find in mid 2022.
