Item Description

This locality is known for its unique pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite, but this INCREDIBLY large (for the locality) "floater" specimen features a NON-pseudomorphed "disco ball-shaped" crystal group of sharp white/beige pseudo-hexagonal Aragonite. Some of the crystals show slight hoppering, giving the piece a bit more depth. Personally, I have seen only a handful of these "disco ball" pieces from Coroco, but this is one of the larger pieces that I've offered from the locality. They are MUCH rarer than the pseudomorphs of Copper after Aragonite in my experience. This specimen is a very fine example of this material, and really impressive for Corocoro. If you're a Bolivian collector, or an oddities collector, don't miss out on this one, because it's one of the few I have to offer.
