Nicholsonite is the very rare zinc-rich variety of aragonite. Found at only three localities worldwide, the very best come from Tsumeb and are seldom available. This is an outstanding, large, glassy, translucent, yellowish-tan, tapered crystal. The impressive, lustrous, stepped-growth, hexagonal, faces rest on a coloress core.
