An adorable and aesthetic miniature combination from Tsumeb and the Shields Flynn Collection. The thin sculptural matrix crust is covered on both sides with pretty powder-blue plancheite. The piece is dramatically accented by the striking, sharp, 1.4 cm, conical, doubly terminated, pseudo-hexagonal, aragonite variety tarnowitzite (lead rich) crystal and well-placed smaller crystals. Tsumeb easily produced the world's finest examples of tarnowitzite and this is a very RARE and fine, artistic and colorful combination example.
