Item Description
Arandisite is an ultra rare tin silicate, or possibly a mixture of silica and tin oxide. It is unique to this Erongo locality. Lustrous, translucent, bright apple-green arandisite crystals are richly embedded on all sides of the quartz matrix. This is a very rich and rare old-time example. Ex Dennis Mullane and O. Ivan Lee Collections and comes with faded Hugh Ford and Burminco labels. The Ford label dates to 1946-57. Value of such a rarity???
