Item Description

A gorgeous and aesthetic association specimen from the well-known Huanggang Mine. Beautiful clusters of sharp, lustrous, silvery colored Arsenopyrite measuring up to 3.2 cm are sitting on altered Ilvaite of a greenish-brown hue. The Arsenopyrite groups almost have a flower-like form and display a wonderful directional luster when rotated in the light. I looked closely and I can't find any major damage on any of the Arsenopyrite groups. A showy and excellent quality specimen of this attractive material. The piece comes with a FREE custom lucite base for display. Priced at $1,800 in the inventory. Ex Dr. Stephen Smale Collection.
