Item Description

The mine at Trepca is one of the most famous eastern European localities. It has produced a great wealth of sulfide, phospahte and carbonate association specimens over the course of it's existence. Sadly, due the the political circumstances that have surrounded this area, the mine is no longer producing specimens. This piece is a classic association specimen featuring metallic, silvery prisms of Arsenopyrite which are associated with pale pink Rhodochrosite sitting atop gemmy, pale golden color, "pagoda"-like scalenohedral Calcite crystals. These specimens are few and far between on the market today, so don't miss the opportunity to snag this classic display piece.
