Item Description
A very rich and showy combination specimen from the well-known Mount Gunson copper-lead-zinc-bismuth mine. Nodular aggregates of sparkly, grass-green, bladed atacamite comprise this excellent piece of solid atacamite. Massive gray chalcocite is embedded on the back of the piece. Classic and excellent material from this mine, that closed in 1985. Ex Robert Whitmore Collection.
