Item Description

This material was some of the first Augelite to come out of Bolivia in a long time when it hit the market in the early 2000's. This piece features several sharp, lustrous, gemmy crystals of Augelite measuring up to 7 mm associated with a few greenish-brown compressed rhombohedra of Siderite plus small lustrous octahedral Pyrite on micro Quartz matrix. This is definitely one of the showier specimens of Augelite I've seen from Tasna, as many of them are just lumps. It's a very good quality piece for the species, and the associations make it very desirable for collectors. If you're a Bolivian mineral collector, do not pass this one up, because it's a very worthwhile Augelite from Tasna.
