These are some of the best Augelite crystals to hit the mineral market in a long time. This particular specimen was mined in July 2010, and this recent discovery has produced some of the best Augelites I have seen from this locality. This piece features a good sized, excellent quality, fine, sharp, very lustrous, gemmy, colorless/white twinned crystal of Augelite measuring 7 mm with Sphalerite and Quartz crystals on matrix. The quality of the Augelite twin is very good and it is one of the gemmiest crystals I've seen from this mine. There are also some smaller secondary Augelites on the piece. This rare phosphate mineral is not seen often in any format from any locality. The retail value on this specimen is $500.
