Item Description
Sharp augite crystals are uncommon from the volcanic deposits of Latium. A 1.7 cm, sharp, lustrous, prismatic, jet-black crystal is jauntily set in the scoria matrix. Excellent and uncommon matrix from the Giancarlo Fioravanti Collection.
