Item Description

Aurichalcite is relatively uncommon from the famous mines at Bisbee. This is a colorful and excellent plate is richly and attractively covered with sprays of glassy, bright mint-green, acicular aurichalcite needles on contrasting gossan matrix. Undoubtably old-time material, possibly dating to prior to World War I, but no proof. Ex Dennis Mullane Bisbee Collection. Very uncommon in this quality.
