Here we have a beautiful piece of high quality, lapidary grade Aventurine carved into the shape of Buddha (Gautama Buddha) from India. It's important to note that Aventurine is not an actual species, but rather Quartz mixed with sparkling, semi-metallic green Mica (most likely Muscovite / Fuchsite). The material if polished will have a lovely external gloss, as you can see from the beautiful polish on this piece. Up close the piece has good detail, and it's carved on all sides. This piece is 100% natural and is not dyed or treated in any way. The weight of the piece is 198.71 grams.
