Item Description

Lustrous, gemmy to translucent, clove-brown axinite crystals to 9 mm line a well-placed sculptural vug atop matrix on this classic, old-time specimen from the famous Roscommon Cliff, Cornwall, England. There are more axinites on the bottom of the piece. Bruising is noted to this showy piece, but it remains a highly representative example for the species and locality.
