Axinite-(Fe) with Epidote

There are limited discoveries of Axinite-(Fe) from a handful of localities in Pakistan, and they are often not seen in matrix examples, and associated minerals are also hard to find. This piece is a showy small cabinet featuring a few bladed crystals of purplish-brown colored, sharp, lustrous, gemmy/translucent Axinite-(Fe) measuring up to 2.6 cm which are associated with dark olive-green colored prismatic crystals of Epidote, and white fibrous matted crystals of what is likely Chrysotile or Palygorskite on matrix. The Axinites have a bit of roughness in a few spots, so the piece is not damage-free, but it's a rare matrix specimen for the locality, with a pleasing Epidote association.
