Lustrous, nubby, spherical aggregates of navy-blue azurite crystals richly and attractively cover both sides of this showy two-sided plate. Some of the azurites glow with beautiful electric-blue color under bright light. The thin sandwich-like quartz matrix and bit of malachite add contrast and pizzazz to this uncommon style excellent example from this noted New Mexico locale.
