Item Description

Here we have an attractive full sized miniature display specimen of the world-famous Azurite specimens from the Milpillas Mine in Mexico. These Azurite are some of the best crystallized examples of the species to come out of any locality in decades. It's important to note that these specimens are becoming more difficult to find now that the locality is finished, so be sure to pick them up while they're still available on the market. This piece features excellent quality, good sized, fairly thick, sharp, highly lustrous, deep electric blue colored crystals of Azurite free of matrix. Nearly all of the crystals show a gorgeous electric indigo color when backlit on the edges. A few of the crystals are contacted, so the piece isn't 100% pristine, but the majority of the crystals are in great shape and the specimen is attractive in person. The piece was priced in the inventory at $1,200. Great quality overall, and this material will only increase in value as the years go by, especially now that the locality is done.
