Item Description

This is a very attractive small cabinet display specimen of Azurite on Malachite from the prolific Liufengshan mine. It features hundreds of sharp, lustrous, midnight blue Azurite blades which have formed in "rosette"-like aggregates are are scattered atop light and dark green color, velvety botryoidal Malachite. The reverse side of the specimen shows several spherical aggregates of Azurite which are just starting to alter to Malachite. A nice display specimen of this contemporary classic material. These specimens are commanding high prices, even from the Chinese dealers.
