Azurite ball (Stoudt Coll.)

Item Description

An aesthetic and showy cluster of intergrown, bladed rosettes of very sparkly, azure-blue azurite crystals from the well-known finds at the Blue Grotto Mine, La Sal, Utah. This outstanding, flattened, floater ball has excellent form and is very nearly pristine. The bit of malachite is a very nice accent. Ex Dave Stoudt Collection. For the quality, and rarity of a cluster like this, I feel that this is valued at $300-500 today.
