A classic and good quality display specimen of Azurite from the world famous locality of Touissit. Several very sharp, rather lustrous, thin bladed, deep electric royal blue color crystals of Azurite sit atop gossan matrix. Few localities in the world produce Azurite of this quality and to find crystals like this is certainly uncommon. For the beautiful color along with the excellent overall quality of the piece, it stands out as a nice Touissit Azurite. The best pieces of this material show mirror bright faces which are certainly as fine as Tsumeb in my opinion. Ex Harold Urish Collection.
