Old-time, azurite specimens, such as this, from Zacatecas, Mexico are difficult to obtain today. This is a nifty, pristine, floater rosette of lustrous, sharp, royal-blue azurite blades. A hint of malachite is hidden on the base. Classic, desirable material from this noted, historic locale. These compare very favorably with Bisbee and Morenci specimens. Ex Tarnowski Collection.
