Item Description
Super-sparkly, dark navy-blue, azurite crystals cover both sides of this beautiful CABINET plate from recent finds in China. The thin matrix is banded malachite. The quality of the azurite is outstanding. A bit of periphery wear is noted, but is a very modest detraction to this scintillating specimen. Chinese azurites of this quality compare very favorably with Bisbee material. High praise. Valued at $300-400.
