Item Description
A very aesthetic matrix specimen of azurite on malachite from the now famous discovery of 2007 at Milpillas. Although there were many of these specimens available a few years ago, fine quality, undamaged display specimens are few and far between. The fine quality, sharp, highly lustrous, somewhat gemmy, deep blue, bladed azurite crystals with desirable "electric blue" highlights, to 1.1 cm, are aesthetically clustered atop a mound of velvety, green botryoidal malachite. An outstanding little display specimen from this well known find.
