Item Description

A really cool specimen of what would have been frankly a rather "ugly" Azurite, were it not for the brilliant idea to saw it in half and polish it in order to show the stunning internal beauty. This really is a concretion of Azurite with a dull pale blue exterior, but once it was sawed in half, the beautiful internal concentric bands of alternating and midnight blue Azurite can be seen. You don't see many of these on the market, and it would make a great addition to a copper mineral collection, and Azurite suite, or even a collection of polished minerals.
