Alternating bands of royal-blue and navy-blue azurite highlight this striking, colorful and dramatic sliced and polished pair of an azurite nodule from this now well-known mine, which produced some of the world's finest cuprite and copper specimens. The impressive growth fractures accentuate the sculptural interior. The rather bland exterior of the nodule gives no hint of the internal beauty!
