Item Description

A really cool matched pair (cut and polished set) of what would have been frankly a rather "ugly" Azurite nodule, were it not for the brilliant idea to saw it in half and polish it in order to show the stunning internal beauty. This really is a concretion of Azurite with a dull pale blue exterior, but once it was sawed in half, the beautiful internal concentric bands of alternating royal and midnight blue Azurite can be seen. You don't see many of these on the market, and it would make a great addition to a copper mineral collection, and Azurite suite, or even a collection of polished minerals. Both pieces measures 3.5 x 2.7 x 1.1 cm and 3.5 x 2.8 x 0.9 cm respectively. The set comes with a FREE custom base, which ordinarily would cost $145 in house.
