Item Description

A fine, old-time combination specimen from the historic Gwennap area of Cornwall. One side of the sculptural, gossan crust is richly covered with tiny, pastel-green spheroids, of radial, acicular, olivenite crystals and a scattering, of sparkling, shocking royal-blue, azurite blades as a compliment. The other side is covered with striking azurite blades and just a bit of accenting malachite. Classic, older material from this noted area from the Mark Feinglos Collection, a well-known rarities specialist. He obtained this from Forrest Cureton' collection. Valued at $450.
