Item Description
A classic and excellent Tsumeb azurite crystal from the Willy Israel Collection # 3998. This sharply terminated, lustrous, blocky, midnight-blue to navy-blue crystal is partially pseudomorphed to malachite on the base and on the back. The excellent frontal display views are pristine and the contact on the back is out of sight. Old and fine material from the upper oxidized levels of this renowned mine. Acquired from Clive Queit in November, 1993. Valued at $400.
