Item Description

A multitude of beautiful, rich royal blue color "balls" Azurite are sitting among beautifully complimenting green Malachite matrix from the classic locality at Morenci. There is a small amount of turquoise blue colored Chrysocolla under the Malachite for a nice touch. This area has produced some of the most attractive Azurite and Malachite combinations from any locality in the world. Obviously, Bisbee is the premier Arizona locality for Azurite specimens, but Morenci produced some truly gorgeous specimens over the years. This attractive display specimen features "balls" up to 1.3 cm, and the piece is in great shape on the displays. This particular style of Azurite on Malachite from Morenci are not terribly common on the market, and certainly are worth picking up in this market. If you collect secondary ore minerals, copper species or minerals of Arizona, don't miss out on this striking cabinet sized display piece for a great price. Valued at $3,500 in the inventory.
