They have all the characteristics of the classic associations from Bisbee, Arizona with their intense midnight blue Azurite crystals and gorgeous velvety green Malachite associations. You could still consider these as contemporary pieces, but they surely will go down as classics, as they are some of the most attractive representations of Azurite and Malachite out there. This fine quality full cabinet sized display piece is loaded with sparkling, sharp, brilliant crystals of deep blue Azurite which are associated with lovely, velvety, semi-botryoidal groups and banded layers of mint-green Malachite on oxidized matrix. It's uncanny how much the piece resembles Bisbee! The piece is in excellent shape overall, as the only roughness is along the outer edges where it was removed from the pocket wall.
