Item Description

These are some of the most distinctive and beautiful Azurite and Malachite association specimens extant. There are lots of localities in the world where these two minerals are found together, but the pieces from the M'Ssici locality in Morocco has produced some truly iconic and eye-catching examples. This piece is a highly aesthetic miniature display specimen featuring a stalactite-esque spire of beautiful rich blue color, lenticular Azurite crystals forming tiny "rosettes" along with a smaller secondary Azurite spire which are partially coated by a gorgeous mint green Malachite sitting atop gemmy prismatic iron-stained Quartz crystals. No damage, save the base where the piece was removed from the pocket wall. Certainly one of the showier and better quality examples of this material that we've had to offer from this locality in a while. Priced at $1,200 in our inventory.
