Item Description
Spherical bladed aggregates of frosted, navy-blue azurite crystals are strikingly festooned on the large sculptural, sawed porphyry matrix plate from the well-known Morenci Mine. The balls rest on a thin crust of blue-green chrysocolla, that coats tiny malachite botryoids. The piece has several fine displays views. Classic and very rich large combination material of this azurite style from famed Morenci. Valued at $2000. From the finds of this style in the late 1990s, probably.
