An attractive display piece dating back to the early 2000s. These distinctive specimens are easy to spot, not just for the fact that they are among the finest crystallized examples of Babingtonite ever found, but the wonderful associations make them quite distinctive. Very little of this material is available on the market now, as nothing new has been found in years. This specimen features many well-formed, tabular, jet-black Babingtonite crystals with sharp faces and good luster measuring up to 1.6 cm associated with light green spherical aggregates of Prehnite sitting on Quartz matrix. Very little damage and good aesthetics. Choice material from this soon-to-be-classic locality in China.
