"Ball" Lepidolite

Item Description

A rare, uncommonly large and excellent specimen of highly lustrous, champagne/coppery-colored, "ball" lepidolite from Brazil. Nearly all of the specimens that I have seen of this variety have been miniatures, so this one is very large and extremely fine for the species and location. The piece is solid lepidolite and rests on a matrix of granite. The light contacting on the sides and one end are mostly our of sight. Rarely available in this size, quality and color!
