A LARGE CABINET specimen that has a highly unusual geometry to it! It is a three-dimensional vuggy mound of glittering gemmy barite crystals. It absolutely sparkles in the light and you can see crystals lining all the vuggy areas on the specimen, giving it lots of angles to refelct light. The gemmy barite crystals are as large as 2 cm on edge, although most are smaller. We believe the barites are covering some kind of strange cast growth, from a previous mineral generation (perhaps even older barites). It is a large and impressive specimen. 1578 grams!
