Item Description

A classic and excellent barite specimen from Romania. Parallel-growth clusters of lustrous, translucent, light sea-green, barite blades radiate outward and look just like a corsage on this fine piece. For such dense coverage, there are very few bruised or broken crystals. Specimens of this superior quality came out in the heyday of production in the 1980s. Ex Howard Belsky Collection.
