Barite on Dolomite (old classic) ex Obodda

Item Description

Classic, glassy, colorless, barite prisms aesthetically and richly cover the front of this sculptural, fine old-timer from the historic iron mines of Cumbria. The crystals reach 2.7 cm (doubly terminated) and have texbook chisel terminations. There are more barites on the back and the crust is covered with hematite-tinted dolomite crystals. The front is pristine, except for the modest periphery wear. Choice combination material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
