Item Description
The best of these specimens are arguably the finest golden Barite crystals from Colorado which show a very rich golden color and excellent gem quality crystals. This piece is a bit more of a Pyrite specimen which hosts several gemmy, sharp, lustrous, rich golden color Barites sitting on a crystallized plate of striated, metallic, lustrous, golden Pyrite cubes up to 9 mm. This mine is long defunct and will never produce these specimens ever again. This piece came to Rich Kosnar from noted Colorado collector, Hal Miller and was mined in 1981.
