Item Description

Two, intergrown, variably-sized, bladed, barite "balls" jauntily rest atop matrix of highly lustrous, moderately translucent, twinned, rubyjack sphalerite crystals on this dramatic and sculptural CABINET combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. A trivial bit of contacting is noted to one end of the smaller barite and the modest periphery wear to the sphalerite and barite is a very modest detraction. This classic large piece remains a highly representative and showy combination specimen from this noted locale. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
