Item Description

A dramatic and sculptural LARGE CABINET combination specimen from the famous and now-closed Elmwood Mine. Huge, intergrown, bladed, barite "balls" cap a mounded matrix of highly lustrous, moderately translucent, twinned, rubyjack sphalerite crystals with two, tiny, classic, purple fluorite cubes. The sphalerite field is in super shape and just a trivial bit of contacting is noted to the barite. This classic large piece remains a highly representative and showy combination specimen from this noted locale. Ex James Webb Collection. 7.7 pounds or 3.5 kilos.
