Item Description

A sculptural, elongated, floater cluster of intergrown barite "roses" from Oklahoma. These classic Oklahoma specimens formed in the Permian-aged Garber Sandstone and the sand grains are included in the barite crystal structure. One "rose" is cleaved, but the piece can easily be rotated, so that the damage is out of sight. Highly representative and aesthetic material.
