Item Description

A beautiful group of finely-crystallized thin bladed Barites measuring up to 4.3 cm which are coated in areas by golden-yellow colored rhombic Dolomite and associated with silvery Fluorite cubes that have red iron inclusions to create a lovely two-tone effect. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2180). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Velt" November-December 2017). A cool, odd German classic from the lesser-known locality.
