Item Description

A wonderful association specimen from the famous Moscona Mine featuring fantastic soft blue colored, sharp, bladed crystals of Barite measuring up to 8 mm. You can see associated crystals of sharp, lustrous, gemmy golden yellow cubic Fluorite measuring up to 5 mm on edge on the base of the piece with "saddle"-shaped crystals of pearly white colored Dolomite on the top of the piece. The specimen is in great shape overall, with only one blemish on the edge. The piece was difficult to photograph, and honestly the piece looks better in person. A very worthwhile and attractive Fluorite specimen from this well known Fluorite producing district. From the collection of John Arnaud, formerly of Westcliffe, Colorado.
