Item Description
Baryte is not often found in fine gem crystals, and typically the good gem crystals are colorless. The world-class Barytes from Elk Creek, South Dakota are among the most beloved and popular Baryte specimens from any locality in the Western Hemisphere. The specimen features a pair of sharp, well-formed, gemmy, beautiful rich amber-golden color crystals measuring up to 2.7 cm aesthetically sitting atop golden-yellow Calcite crystal matrix. The piece is a little rough in areas, so it's not 100% damage free, but still a showy and aesthetic piece of this classic material.
