Baryte with Malachite inclusions (rare!)

Unusual for the inclusions and association, these Barytes came out in the mid 1990s and are now very scarce on the market. We only see a few turn back in old collections. After all these years,  they are unique!. Perched on a bit of matrix is a cluster of tabular, glassy, gemmy, pastel green Baryte crystals, to 2.5 cm across. The color is due to malachite inclusions!  Naturally, with Baryte there is almost always a little bit of cleavage or damage, but it is very minimal here with no major issues at all. Super sparkly! and Excellent condition and aesthetics. This fine specimen was from the private worldwide miniatures collection of dealer Herb Obodda, which we bought in 2008 when he retired.
