Item Description

Mineral specimens are very uncommon from this remote locale in the Yukon, Canada. Stout, glassy, highly lustrous, transparent to translucent, grayish-blue spear-points, to about 3.7 cm, densely cover this 360-degree small cabinet mound. Periphery wear is noted, but this remains a rare, showy, rich and high representative example of the species and locale. Ex Bob Reynolds Collection, a well-known fossil and mineral expert and Curator of the San Bernardino County Museum. He passed away in 2020. This limited find came out in the 1980s, with none since.
