Item Description

A striking sculptural plate of stout, very glassy, highly lustrous, translucent barite crystals with dramatic sharp chisel terminations from this obscure old extinct lead mine. The stunning crystals reach about 2.5 cm on this outstanding and rare 360-degree small cabinet. The interior is pristine on this exceptional barite from the Dr. Stephen Moreton Collection and illustrated in the locality Photo Gallery with a September 6, 2018 photo by him.
