Barytocalcite is uncommon barium, calcium carbonate. This historic, old-time specimen is comprised of yellow, barytocalcite blades on solid, well-crystallized, lustrous and translucent, tan barytocalcite crystals from the Type Locality area of the Alston Moor District of England. This old-timer comes with an expertly written, faded accession label from an old museum collection we traded into (dating to prior to World War I). valued $200
