Item Description
An interesting beryl cluster that looks to me like the frame for a real estate sign. The main crystal is 5.5 cm tall and the doubly-terminated sidecar is 1.7 cm long. What really makes this specimen is how the sidecar interfered with the growth of the main crystal - above the sidecar, the main crystal stopped growing so that the top termination is only 1/2 of the original hexagon. Interesting!
