Item Description

A gorgeous and highly sculptural group of absolute GEM quality, soft blue colored Aquamarine crystals, from the famed Shigar Valley in Pakistan. I love the "tiered" formation where the center crystal rises above the other crystals flanking each side. The faces are glassy and very well-formed, and you'll note that the crystals are slightly compressed one direction, so they are a bit more flattened than a standard Beryl crystal would be. I can't see any damage with the naked eye, but with a loupe I can see a few TINY flea bites. Gorgeous, high quality and so aesthetic. Valued $1,250.
From the collection of David E Ziga, a geologist who graduated Miami (of Ohio) University in 2017, with a mineralogy background.
